The Mayflower

This year I was commissioned to create a concept for the Mayflower, the very first Chinese restaurant in Cheltenham, with over forty years of history and tradition.

It was magnificent and challenging project. I inspired to create a modern take on traditional Chinese landscape painting that are both expressive and atmospheric.

Tranquil Garden

I also continued working for Kibou, creating another wonderful space in Cambridge, 2023. This time the concept evolved around an idea of a tranquil garden. I was inspired by a fantastic painting by John William Waterhouse and ‘bijinga’ paintings by Ikenaga Yasunari.
